Outside the bitter April winds chill me to my bones. This is the season when you find summer in the sunshine and winter in the shade. Someone famous said that. The flowers are blooming, the trees are budding, but I remain bundled under layers of clothing. Winter seems reluctant to release its grip on us.
And don’t get me started on plagues, politics, or world wars. These are trying times.
On the lighter side, there are stories. Stories to write. Stories to read. Stories to illuminate all that is good in each of us, remind us of how fragile and beautiful our relationships with one another are, and how being human means being imperfect.
And … that the secret to the universe if love. And … that we all slip on banana peels.
Yes, it is late, as I write this post.
All this rambling is to say that if you want to read my latest news, check out my April newsletter.
