3 Bullet Friday (2019-10-11)
This is my weekly 3 bullet check-in. I chat about what I’m reading, thinking about, and doing.
This week I read JC McKenzie’s Dangerous Decisions and loved it. It’s filled with McKenzie’s wicked wit and sass. My full 5 heart review can be seen on Amazon, Goodreads, and Bookbub. I recommend it for readers who love paranormal romance.
Isn’t the cover intriguing?
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.
I finished the third draft of my Christmas story and sent it to my wonderful beta readers. Now, I’m holding my breath. I can’t wait to hear what they have to say.
Last weekend I attended an amazing workshop on writing historical characters with Shelley Adina. Nancy Warren and Sharon Ashwood added their writing experiences to the presentation. All three are award-winning, multi-published, hybrid writers. Listening to such accomplished writers talk about their craft was like eating a triple chocolate sundae topped with whipped cream on a cloud in heaven. It never fails to amaze me how gracious and generous accomplished writers are with the rest of us.
Otherwise … I’ve been enjoying crisp mornings. The leaves on the trees that edge the nearby river have turned gorgeous shades of yellow and orange. I feel grateful to be alive.
Enjoy your weekend.
See you between the lines,
