3 Bullet Friday (2019-10-04)
This is my weekly 3 bullet check-in. I chat about what I’m reading, thinking about, and doing.
This week I read Divorced, Desperate and Deceived by Christie Craig. What a hoot. I laughed from the first page to the last. Well, not exactly. I didn’t laugh during the steamy scenes. If you like funny romantic suspense this is a book for you. My full review can be seen on Amazon, Goodreads, and Bookbub. I gave it a 5.
All things on earth point home in old October; sailors to sea, travellers to walls and fences, hunters to field and hollow and the long voice of the hounds, the lover to the love he has forsaken.
I’ve enjoyed the five-minute mythbusting episodes on Dana Kaye’s podcast Branding Outside the Box (i.e., Instagram, Email Marketing and Voice Marketing). They say a lot in less than five minutes. Editing my Christmas story is giving me a sore elbow, but I enjoy watching it take shape. I worked through a couple more lessons in my Udemy audiobook course, which involved setting up file paths and toolbars in Reaper (the software recommended by the teacher). Not fun. I got so frustrated this week that my headache stretched right down to my teeth. But I’m not ready to give up. I figure it’s the tedious part of my project, and I can’t wait until I actually get to record. I released my monthly newsletter, followed by an oopsy-newsletter because I messed up a link. Of course, my oopsy got more opens, which means that many of my readers missed the information in my first NL. Oh well. You can view either through the following links, October N.L. , Oopsy NL
Enjoy your weekend.
See you between the lines,
