This is a great clip from Friday’s PBS news, so I’m sharing it here. I loved many things about it, but what I liked most was his discussion of the “levels of mystery.”

- moral, and if the writer’s really good
- philosophical
So that at the end of the book there is an answer to the crime and if it’s really well written the reader will be thinking deeply about it’s philosophical implications. How cool is that.
